History:
Jun-Jun, meaning "One on one," is a traditional mental skill game from the highlands of Chiapas State. It is a solitary game that tests logical thinking and problem-solving abilities. This game is part of the cultural heritage overseen by the Mexican Traditional and Autochthonous Games and Sports Federation.
Rules:
Jun-Jun is played on a rectangular wooden board measuring 20 x 15 centimeters, which has 33 small holes. Little wooden sticks are inserted into these holes. The objective is to remove the sticks one by one, skipping one stick per move, following this pattern until only one stick remains on the board.
