Organized by the World Ethnosport Union, the Ethnosport Culture Festival Photo Exhibition “Tradition and Memory” will be open to visitors at the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM) from 7 to 14 January.

Over the past seven years, the Ethnosport Culture Festival has brought together traditions, cultural values, and ancestral games from different regions of the world, establishing itself as one of the most comprehensive cultural gatherings of our time. Reflecting the visual memory of the festival, the exhibition presents this rich cultural heritage through the art of photography.

All photographs featured in the exhibition were taken during the Ethnosport Culture Festival and selected by an expert jury from works submitted to the festival’s photography competitions. These images capture the movement of tradition, the intensity of the athletes, the spirit of the arena, and the living essence of culture through a powerful visual narrative.

Spanning a wide range from traditional sports and games to rituals and intercultural encounters, the exhibition highlights moments where diverse cultures come together, revealing the vitality and continuity of living heritage.

Serving as a lasting visual narrative of this major cultural gathering where traditional sports and games are revitalized, “Tradition and Memory” aims to preserve and transmit the memory of tradition to future generations.

The “Tradition and Memory – Ethnosport Culture Festival Photo Exhibition” can be visited at the Atatürk Cultural Center between 7 and 14 January.
