The 4th National Highland Festival was successfully held in Khan Yurdu, Göygöl district of Azerbaijan, on 15–17 August 2025. Dedicated to the preservation and promotion of highland and nomadic culture, the event brought together participants from across the world.

Organized with the support of the World Ethnosport Union, the festival was attended by WEU President Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan, Mr. Farid Gayibov – Minister of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Majnun Mammadov – Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, along with senior officials and international representatives.

Over three days, visitors engaged with traditional sports, handicrafts, workshops, and folklore performances, reflecting the cultural richness of highland life.

Now in its fourth edition, the festival reaffirmed its role as an international platform for cultural exchange and the promotion of shared heritage.
