World Ethnosport Confederation (WEC) President N. Bilal Erdoğan, met representatives from Ministry of Horse and Sports and Youth Policies Ministry of Turkmenistan to exchange ideas about traditional sports.
Erdoğan who visits Ashkabat as a guest of the Ministry of Turkmenistan Sports and Youth Policies Gulgeldiyev Dayanç Yaranowiç, made contact with officials about Turkmen national sports.
“We are working for transferring traditional sports to the next generations, each nation should do the same to live with its own culture.” says Erdoğan.
In the meeting, Erdoğan also invited Turkmenistan to International Ethnosport Forum, World Nomad Games and Ethnosport Culture Festival events which will be held in Türkiye. Minister Yaranowiç welcomed the invitation and said they will be preparing for these events.
WEC President Erdoğan met with representatives from Horse Ministry and watched the exhibition of Akhal Teke horses.
