The award ceremony for the CW Energy Turkey Oil Wrestling League 2024 season was held at Hilton Mall of Istanbul with the participation of Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan, President of the World Ethnosport Confederation. Wrestlers who achieved top ranks received their awards, highlighting the importance of traditional sports.
In his speech, Bilal Erdoğan emphasized the need to preserve and promote traditional sports, saying, "We are working to bring oil wrestling to its rightful place. Preparations are ongoing for the 2026 World Nomad Games and the 2027 Grand Ethnosport Organization."
President of the Turkish Traditional Wrestling Federation, İbrahim Türkiş, expressed gratitude for the contributions to the development of oil wrestling and pledged support for local governments. CW Energy Chairman Tarık Sarvan stated their pride in supporting traditional sports.
The golden belt winner, Enes Doğan, received his award from Bilal Erdoğan. The World Ethnosport Confederation continues its efforts to preserve and promote traditional sports worldwide.
