8th International Turkish Folks Traditional Sports Games Symposium was made with the participation of World Ethnosport Confederation (WEC) President N. Bilal Erdoğan.
The symposium, organized by the traditional sports Research Application Center and the Kyrgyzstan Turkey Manas University, was attended by 23 countries and 26 Turkish tribes. Supported by the World Ethnosport Confederation, Turkish Historical Society, and Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality, 103 participants presented papers at the symposium.
The closing speech was held on 16-17-18 October 2019 at Kahramanmaraş Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Culture Center by WEC President N. Bilal Erdogan. Erdogan, who is also the honorary president of the symposium, thanked the academics who presented the papers in his speech.
