Between September 29 - October 2, 2022, the Essential Ethnosport Digital Experience exhibition, hosted by the World Ethnosport Confederation with the support of the Konya Chamber of Commerce (KTO) and Karatay University, will open its doors to visitors at the World Nomad Games.
The 4th World Nomad Games, organized with the participation of thousands of athletes representing different countries, will be held in İznik this year. The event, to be unveiled by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will gather more than 3,000 athletes and thousands of sports fans from 102 countries through events, traditional sports on the edge of being forgotten, visual exhibitions bearing traces of different cultures, and competitive competitions where traditional sports and cultures are performed and will host 1 million local and foreign visitors.

The World Nomad Games, the first of which was held in Kyrgyzstan in 2014 with the aim of keeping nomadic culture alive and carrying ancestral sports to the present, will be held in Turkey for the first time this year. With the support of KTO and Karatay University, an important exhibition realized by the World Ethnosport Confederation will also join up with the visitors at the event. Traditional sports and games will be hosted within the framework of Ethnosport’s principles of peace, solidarity, respect, and tradition. The Essential Ethnosport Digital Experience exhibition, where tradition meets innovation as explained in a different language, will also be presented to the visitors.

The World Nomad Games aims for cultural sustainability and inter-generational transferability, will open its doors on September 29. The "Essential Ethnosport Digital Experience" Exhibition, which addresses the transition of traditional games to the digital games of the modern world through various disciplines and methods, can be visited at the same time between September 29-October 2 between 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. each day.

The event will be attended by more than 3,000 athletes and thousands of sports fans from 102 countries and will have the honor of being the first one in the world with regard to traditional sports branches.
