Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University students competed their knowledge and strategies in the tournament organized through the Mangala: Ethnosport application developed and put into service under the leadership of the World Ethnosports Confederation (WEC).
The Online Mangala Tournament, which was pioneered by DEK as a first in the field of traditional sports and games, was held on December 22, 2023 by the E-sports Club under the Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University Student Council and KTMU Career Office. Students who came together for the tournament, which will be held for the first time at Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University Social Facilities, enjoyed the online competition.
Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Associate Dean and Career Office Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Esen stated that "The Mangala Tournament, which was organized online for the first time at Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University in order to increase the strategic thinking skills and mental capacities of the students, will continue in the coming years".
20 students competed in the tournament and the first three winners were awarded with certificates and various gifts.
The Mangala:Ethnosport application, which is part of DEK's digital activities, took its place in the memories as a source of inspiration for students for future organizations.
