The 6th Ethnosport Forum organized in Antalya was led by the World Ethnosport Confederation (WEC) and became an important meeting point for the protection and promotion of traditional sports and cultural heritage. Bringing together more than 200 participants from 60 countries around the world, the forum created a roadmap to shape the future of traditional sports.
The most remarkable development of this year's forum was the goodwill agreement signed between the World Ethnosport Confederation and member federations. The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation and unity among cultural communities globally by establishing common rules and principles within the confederation for the protection and promotion of traditional sports.
This historic agreement once again emphasizes the importance of international cooperation in the protection of traditional sports and cultural heritage, enabling bridges to be built between different cultures. With this agreement, the Ethnosports Forum assumes a critical role in the transfer of traditional sports and cultures to future generations.
