The International Belt Wrestling Tournament was organised in Dubai by the International Belt Wrestling Federation, one of the institutional members of the World Ethnosport Confederation (WEC), which operates for the revival of traditional sports and games.
Between 1 December and 4 December, international belt wrestling competitions were held in Dubai (UAE). The competition, held under the leadership of the International Belt Wrestling Federation, one of the institutional members of the World Ethnosport Confederation (WEC), at the Kuma Team sports club in Dubai, witnessed exciting moments. World Belt Wrestling champions Ranis Gilyazetdinov, Bulat Musin, Islam Falakhov, Dinar Karimullin also participated in the tournament, which was attended by the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan.
A series of seminars on belt wrestling were given under the guidance of Murad Gaidarov, Vice President of the International Belt Wrestling Federation and Olympic medallist. According to the results of the final stage of the tournament held in Dubai for the second year in a row; 5 sets of awards were given in 65kg, 75kg, 85kg, 100kg and absolute weight categories.
The tournament, where exciting moments were experienced, ended after the award ceremony.
