İbrahim Türkiş has been re-elected as the president of the Turkish Traditional Wrestling Federation during the 2nd Ordinary and 1st Financial General Assembly. The federation, as a member of the World Ethnosport Confederation, continues its efforts to preserve and promote traditional wrestling.

Türkiş emphasized the importance of cooperation with the Union of Cities Organizing Oil Wrestling, stating, "We will work in harmony with the union and our municipalities to carry our ancestral sport to its rightful place."
New Developments in the Leagues
Türkiş announced that the oil wrestling leagues will continue next season and that a new league will be introduced for young wrestlers in the mini category. He also emphasized a strict zero-tolerance policy against doping.
New Executive Board
The newly elected executive board, led by President İbrahim Türkiş, includes Şahin Hopur, Zakir Avşar, Mehmet Conoğlu, Mehmet Emin Bay, Alparslan Arslan, Hakan Çetin, Bilal Öz, Halil İbrahim Özdemir, Fatih Küçük, and İbrahim Doğan.
