Hakan Kazancı has been re-elected as the president of the Türkiye Traditional Equestrian Sports Federation during the 5th Ordinary General Assembly held in Ankara. The federation is a member of the World Ethnosport Confederation, where Kazancı also serves as the Vice President.
Kazancı emphasized their commitment to preserving traditional sports and passing them on to future generations, saying, "We will continue our efforts to keep alive our ancestral sports such as mounted javelin, mounted archery, rahvan riding, and traditional wrestling."
He also highlighted their facility development efforts, noting that the newly established 32-acre facility in Ankara has attracted significant interest. Similar projects are planned in various cities across Türkiye.
Kazancı announced that Türkiye will host the 2022 World Nomad Games in İznik and expressed their determination to promote traditional sports worldwide.
