The game caravan set off for Azerbaijani children.
A farewell ceremony was held i the Harem, Istanbul for the “game caravan” supported by the World Ethnosport Confederation (WEC). The tradition started with the opening speech of Mehmet Mutlu, the president of the Federation of children's games and sports clubs (ÇOSKF). It ended with the good wishes of Özgül Özkan Yavuz, the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism. After the ceremony, the game caravan will stay in seven cities for two days and tour Azerbaijan. In the playing fields to be established, the Federation's trainers will use traditional street games (handkerchiefs, hopscotches, rope towing, sack racing, etc.).) there will be a big event to be played, and a festival atmosphere will be created that will instill Brotherhood and love of homeland for children.
